Shiseido announced that its new commercial, "Be yourself. / Lady Gaga with SHISEIDO," featuring Lady Gaga, will begin airing nationwide on July 29th. Shiseido has been collaborating with Gaga throughout the year since its New Year's ad in 2015. For the New Year's ad, 50 of Gaga's selfies were featured, one in each of 50 newspapers, including national, regional, and prefectural. Shiseido also made headlines when Shiseido used Shiseido products for all of Gaga's makeup at the 57th Grammy Awards, where she won the Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album award for her album "Cheek To Cheek." The new commercial showcases Gaga's message of "supporting your unique beauty" throughout her day. The filming began in Gaga's apartment and shows her in life-size scenes, including putting on makeup in her room, playing with her beloved dog, Miss Asia Kinney, and interacting with friends.
