Apr 20, 2021
Giorgio Armani's worldwide project, Nanao, representing Japan, has finally released a video and photos of her today, both in Japan and around the world.

The Giorgio Armani "Crossroads Project" features 14 strong, elegant, and independent women selected from around the world. Since the project's launch in early April, each of the 14 women has been shown a video talking about the "crossroads" they faced in their lives, along with images of them wearing Giorgio Armani clothing. Today, the video and photos of Nanao, the actress representing Japan, were finally released. These videos and photos are being shared globally on Armani's official social media platforms, including Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook, as well as on the "Crossroads" special page on the Armani official website.

Giorgio Armani has long aimed to create clothes that empower women to feel confident in society and express their individuality. That passion remains unchanged, and we continue to seek opportunities to express and celebrate the individuality, femininity, abilities, and strength of modern women. This spring, Giorgio Armani launched the "Crossroads Project," featuring 14 strong, elegant, and independent women selected from around the world.

The Crossroads Project features 14 women selected from various countries around the world (Japan, the United States, Italy, France, Italy, the United Kingdom, Spain, Germany, Poland, Australia, Lebanon, Brazil, and China) as storytellers. Since the project launched on April 8th (Italian time), each woman has been released with an interview video and visual in which they speak unfiltered and naturally about their experiences and moments of decision-making.

Finally, today, on the 20th (Japan time), the long-awaited interview video and images of Nanao have been released.

In the video, Nanao talks about the crossroads she has reached in her life, the choices that have shaped who she is today, and her thoughts on her own personality.

Additionally, images released show her stunningly rocking new Giorgio Armani collections. She is seen wearing a clean white blouse coordinated with a skirt featuring this season's signature pattern, an elegant dress, and a mannish pants look, all of which beautifully exude the "individuality," "strength," and "femininity" that Giorgio Armani values.

Additionally, BTS (Behid the scene) images have also been released, showing them in a more natural mood before appearing in front of the camera.

Nanao commented on the release of these images as follows:
"I am delighted to have been selected as an ambassador representing Japan for the Crossroads Project. Ever since I saw the Giorgio Armani Privé show in Paris in 2017, I have wanted to be a woman who could look good in beautiful Armani clothes. Just as Giorgio Armani has long aimed to create clothes that give women confidence in their social lives and support them in expressing their individuality, I hope to be someone who can have a positive influence on those who watch and support me through this project and my future activities."
