Junichi Abe's kolor presented his Spring/Summer 2016 collection on the French public radio station, Radio France.
While the collection featured strong military influences, the use of thin, lightweight techno fabrics and details like thin belts sewn onto the shoulders and stitching transformed the collection into the brand's signature elegant casual wear.
Fabrics such as abstract camouflage, stripes in camouflage-like colors, and enlarged houndstooth were combined in key locations to create a light and airy look. Accessories included shawls sewn with gold sequins, and tweed pieces added a feminine touch.
Loose-fitting work pants dominated the collection, while Bermuda shorts with transparent layers at the hems added a cool touch. This presented a new interpretation of sophisticated military wear never before seen.
