rag & bone has unveiled its 2016 Pre-Spring Collection. This season's theme is "urban minimalism." The color palette is based on neutrals like gray with red accents, creating an overall clean, urban vibe.
Knitwear and coats, crafted from luxe materials with a distinctive volume, are traditionally styled, skillfully incorporating pinstripes and prints to create a sophisticated, mature, minimalist style.
Also noteworthy this season is the brand's collaboration with venerable London manufacturer LIBERTY. The monochrome print, based on archive prints originally produced at the Merton dyeworks in the 1930s and 1940s, features a striking, detailed botanical print of thistles and large-scale carnations. Both pieces are key pieces in the look, featuring a modern, graphic reinterpretation of the LIBERTY print, characteristic of rag & bone.
The same print is used for both men and women, and the women's line comes in eight styles, including dresses, silk tops, skirts and pullovers.
