IDEE Gallery, located inside IDEE TOKYO (Gransta Tokyo B1F, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo), will be hosting an exhibition by Fukuoka-based artist krank, who is active in a wide range of fields, from April 16th to May 11th, 2021.

Their objects and installations, which weave stories from European antiques, invite viewers into a world of fantasy. krank's fantasy will be coming to Tokyo Station.
QUIET
Animals found in the corners of European cities.
Shine a light on these animals, or have them hide in a chair...
A world of expressionlessness and silence
But at times a quiet and peaceful world.
krank
When I saw the shop they created, I thought it was like a painting. I felt a light or atmosphere like Andrew Wyeth. I felt like they were selling space, air, light, and atmosphere. I intuitively felt that they weren't selling objects. Antique furniture, accessories, vintage clothing. These are like essential motifs in paintings.
Rather than trying to create a unique atmosphere, perhaps Kenichiro Fujii is trying to evoke a sense of nostalgia that exists within humans.
Everyone is excited to see what kind of atmosphere Fujii will create at the ID&E TOKYO gallery. You can purchase motifs displayed in a painting-like space. We wanted to have this experience in the heart of Tokyo, so we decided to make this project a reality.
Try stepping into a painting.
Someone once said that beauty is nostalgia. I hope to share with you the beauty that only appears over time.
Experience krank in Tokyo.
