On January 26, 2017, adidas Originals will globally release the new "Equipment" series shoe, the "EQT SUPPORT 93/17" (priced at ¥24,000).

This new model is a redesign of the "EQT SUPPORT 93," originally released in 1993, with the latest features and a modern style. As part of the second-generation "Equipment Running" collection, the "EQT SUPPORT 93" was developed for runners seeking motion control, stability, and cushioning. The lateral heel support, intermediate strap, and midfoot belt support the foot and control movement. The wrap-around tongue also provides a comfortable fit and ankle support.

This newly redesigned model features a woven knit upper with a pixelated noise motif, premium nubuck panels, and a tape-like three-stripes. Additionally, various features have been added, such as an OrthoLite(R) sockliner, TPU support panels, and a full-length BOOST midsole. This model also features a bold new "Turbo" color palette.
