The state of things in the modern world: 5th "Salon" held at tac:tac Koenji store

Dec 16, 2016

Tac:tac, a fashion brand developed by A-net, will hold the fifth edition of its "Salon" event, which provides a space for various encounters and new discoveries, at its Tac:tac Koenji store on December 17th and 18th. For the fifth edition, the store will invite Osaka antiques shop Kokonkokon, where contemporary artist Ryuta Aoyagi serves as art director, to present and sell antiques and explore the value and state of things in today's world. Kokonkokon is an antiques shop run by owner Akiko Yamaguchi, specializing in items from around the world and throughout history. The store offers an opportunity to take a step further and enjoyably select everyday objects, bringing a subtle change to the everyday scenery. The event will also feature a talk session between Ryuta Aoyagi and Tac:tac designer Takaaki Shimase. The theme will be the value of objects. Admission is free and open to the public.
