Raf Simons will present his 2017 Spring/Summer collection at the 90th Pitti Uomo, which will be held in Florence in June.

This special project, titled "Florence Calling," will be the first collection presented under Raf Simons' own name, following his retirement as creative director of Dior in October last year after three and a half years in the role, with the 2016 Spring/Summer collection being the final collection.

Raf Simons first presented his signature runway and installation on the Pitti Uomo stage in 2003, and again in 2005. Florence holds a special place in his heart, as he also presented a collection for Jil Sander, for whom he serves as creative director, in 2011.

"The city of Florence holds a special place in my heart. I have visited it many times over the years to present my collections and to collaborate with ventures that reflect my vision perfectly. I am delighted to be returning to present this season's Spring/Summer collection and for a special project that I am organizing exclusively for Pitti."
