About Thomas Kinkade
Born in California in 1958, Thomas Kinkade was one of America's most popular artists. The worlds he depicted, from majestic nature and idyllic rural landscapes to populous metropolises, were filled with peace and joy, and his warm, enveloping expression of light soothed the hearts of those who saw them. He passed away in 2012 at the young age of 54, but during his lifetime he devoted himself to mentoring young artists in order to pass on his art to the next generation. The works of Thomas Kinkade Studios, created by artists who have inherited his will, continue to convey his art and messages to fans around the world.
