A beer garden will be held in the retro space of Marche ecute Kanda Manseibashi

Jun 10, 2014

Following on from last year, JR East Station Retailing will hold its second beer event, "Beer Arch." The event will run from June 16th to September 15th at Marche Écute Kanda Manseibashi (1-25-4 Kanda Sudacho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo). "Beer Arch" is a food and drink event where you can enjoy draft beer and light meals next to the retro atmosphere of the red brick arch of the Marche Écute Kanda Manseibashi viaduct. In addition to selling draft beer and light meals, this year's event will also feature a limited-time shop in collaboration with "Nomono Akihabara," a local products shop on the JR Akihabara premises, open in section N6 of the "Tatsumai" event space (until July 6th). Titled "Nippon Craft Beer Department Store," the shop will offer a selection of approximately 50 types of Japanese craft beer. The venue, Marché Écute Kanda Manseibashi, is a commercial facility that opened last September utilizing part of the old Manseibashi Station. In addition to being able to enjoy the remains of the station from 102 years ago, the building is also home to a number of restaurants, including cafes, as well as shops selling wine, sweets, flowers, and miscellaneous goods.
