The northern section N4 to N7 of mAAch ecute Kanda Manseibashi, which opened on the 14th, is home to an event space called "Tatsumai." Here, a limited-time shop promoting "Japanese culture" that people want to incorporate into their daily lives will be set up.
Until the 29th, four parties with ties to the Kanda Manseibashi area will be participating in an event titled "101 Years of Manseibashi Station and Manufacturing in East Tokyo." N4 will feature "Kobo HOSONO," a canvas bag maker founded in Kanda Sudacho in 1912, the same year Manseibashi Station opened. They will be selling handmade products, each bag crafted by a single artisan. N5 will feature ANNAK, a brand produced by Mitake Sangyo, which was founded 80 years ago in Motoasakusa, and offers a selection of 100% domestically produced leather goods.
At N6 and 7, apparel and fashion accessories by eight groups of creators from Taito Designers Village, which supports young creators in starting up their own businesses, will be on display. Also available will be traditional crafts designated by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, such as New Year's hair ornaments and flower decorations for hats, in collaboration with Tsumami-do, a tsumami-zaiku crafts shop founded in 1939.
The events will rotate every two weeks.
