Yohji Yamamoto will release two sneakers in collaboration with adidas on May 1st. The "YY STRAP BBALL HIGH" (58,000 yen) is a Yohji Yamamoto redesign of adidas' classic basketball shoe, the "Top Ten 2000" (56,000 yen). Meanwhile, the "YY STRAP BBALL MID" features an original upper design based on the sole of the iconic '90s basketball shoe, the "CRAZY 8." The upper is made of a combination of goat leather and cowhide, evoking a street vibe. The insole has a double structure and incorporates a removable inner pad made of polyester, nylon, and polyurethane. A back zipper also makes the shoes easier to put on and take off. The colors of the "YY STRAP BBALL HIGH" are black, and the "YY STRAP BBALL MID" are white.
