To celebrate the re-release of Yohji Yamamoto's perfume, Yohji Yamamoto Parfums, a collaboration car with German car manufacturer Audi will be launched. It will be driving around the Aoyama and Omotesando areas on September 7th.
The four models and four colors of the car, inspired by the perfume's packaging and colors, feature the special "Yohji Yamamoto" logo on the body.
Audi and Yohji Yamamoto first collaborated at the art event "Cutting Age: Yohji Yamamoto in Berlin" held in Germany in April this year. At this event, Yohji Yamamoto's archive works were showcased in a show, which also attracted attention as the brand's first show in Germany.
Yohji Yamamoto Parfums was launched in Europe in 1996 and was temporarily discontinued, but it has been decided that it will be re-released this year. The collection has been on sale overseas since spring, and in Japan it will be available at the Yohji Yamamoto Aoyama flagship store from the 7th. It will also be available for a limited time at the Seibu Shibuya store until the 16th, and at the Hankyu Umeda flagship store from the 14th to October 1st.
