On the 18th, LOEWE kicked off a pop-up event for its collaboration collection with JUNYA WATANABE COMME des GARÇONS, "Loewe and Junya Watanabe Comme des Garçons," at The Stage on the first floor of the Isetan Shinjuku store. The event runs until the 24th.
The interior of the store recreates the atmosphere of the collection show held at the Spanish Embassy on May 21st. Photographs taken in Spain are used on the walls, creating a three-dimensional effect through optical illusion techniques. Items are displayed on a black rubber flamenco chair, the same one that was also displayed at the recent DOVER STREET MARKET GINZA, where the brand recently launched the collection, combining LOEWE nappa leather with Junya Watanabe's signature denim and patchwork. The women's collection includes a nappa leather jacket with all-over denim stitching, a leather patchwork skirt, a leather and denim miniskirt, and two styles of leather and denim pants. The men's collection includes a denim jacket with leather sleeves and leather and denim pants. The denim colors are black for men and blue for women. The collaboration bag, Loewe's iconic "Amazona," will be available in four sizes, and two styles will be sold: leather patchwork and leather and denim patchwork. Other items include tote bags, pouches, and purses. Customers who purchase products during the collaboration period will receive a limited edition nail sticker as a gift. The collaboration collection will be available at 11 stores nationwide, including Isetan. A pop-up event will be held at Hankyu Men's Osaka and Tokyo from September 25th to October 1st.
In addition, the bag department on the first floor of Isetan Shinjuku is simultaneously holding a feature event for the "Monochrome" collection, a series that expresses Loewe's iconic Amazona and Flamenco in monotone colors.
