JoJo appears at Shiseido Ginza Building! Hair and makeup photo exhibition held

Sep 19, 2013

To celebrate the opening of its new headquarters, the Shiseido Ginza Building, Shiseido will hold an opening program, "Japan Original Beauty—An Exhibition of Hair and Makeup Works in Collaboration with the Corporate Advertising Series 'My Blooming Declaration' and 'JoJo's Bizarre Adventure'," in the building's Hanatsubaki Hall from the 4th to the 9th of next month. The exhibition will feature 29 works, including 19 original hair and makeup photographs by Shiseido Beauty's top stylist, Tadashi Harada, featuring characters from Hirohiko Araki's 'JoJo's Bizarre Adventure', as well as 10 portraits of beautiful women taken by photographer Nobuyoshi Araki from the 'My Blooming Declaration' series, currently being serialized in Bungeishunju. The JoJo-themed works were first unveiled in May of this year and generated a great deal of buzz online. The designs are based on characters from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Parts 3 to 6, including Giorno Giovanna, Jolyne, Abbacchio, Polnareff, and Kishibe Rohan. The brand offers beauty proposals through innovative creative hair and makeup inspired by world-renowned manga, as well as through the beautiful lifestyles of women who represent Japan today.
