The Intra-matic Chronograph H is a new addition to the collection, inspired by the Chronograph A and Chronograph B, released in 1968. It features the latest manual-winding chronograph movement, the H-51, with a standard power reserve of 60 hours. This timepiece combines vintage design with the latest watchmaking technology.

Intra-matic Chronograph H

Manual-winding movements are an essential part of Hamilton's watchmaking history. In 1968, Hamilton introduced its first manual-winding chronograph model. The Chronograph A, nicknamed the "Panda Dial" for its white dial and horizontal black subdials, and the Chronograph B, nicknamed the "Reverse" Panda Dial for its black dial with an inverted panda face and white subdials, embody Hamilton's rich watchmaking history. Now, more than half a century after its launch, in 2021, we are releasing the Intra-Matic Chronograph H, featuring the latest manual-winding chronograph movement, the H-51.

The manual-winding chronograph movement allows you to wind the mainspring, start the stopwatch, and interact with the mechanism at the heart of the watch. Distinguishing itself from a watch that simply displays the time, the Intra-Matic Chronograph H evokes the joy of mechanical interaction.

The newly developed H-51 caliber manual-winding chronograph movement, with a standard power reserve of 60 hours, is housed in a slim stainless steel case. While the original model's case size was 36mm, the Intra-Matic Chronograph H is a more modern 40mm. The monochrome contrast dial features Hamilton's vintage logo, and the stylish bar indexes and hands are accented with beige Super-LumiNova®, reminiscent of the color of old radium. The box-shaped crystal retains the classic look of the timepiece while incorporating a highly transparent, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal for enhanced functionality. A selection of premium black leather straps and sporty mesh bracelets elevates the watch to a modern style.

This timepiece faithfully reproduces the style of chronographs Hamilton created in the 1960s and 1970s while incorporating modern watchmaking technology, weaving together Hamilton's craftsmanship.
