Andaz Tokyo to host a participatory event where participants can create one-of-a-kind moving art

Nov 8, 2015

As part of Andaz Tokyo's ongoing participatory social event, "Andaz Salon," the artist Itu' will host "WALK" on November 13th, themed on "WEARABLE ART."

Itu' is a Paris-based artist who has created a new concept of value called "WEARABLE ART," using the things we own, wear, and carry as a canvas. His latest work, "WALK," showcases 100 pairs of art sneakers displayed across an entire wall.

The event will provide the white sneakers used as canvases in "WALK" and paint, allowing guests to create their own artwork. Once the sneakers have dried, they can be taken home the following day. By wearing them, guests will create a one-of-a-kind piece of "moving art."
