This year marks the 10th anniversary of the collaboration between LONGCHAMP and Jeremy Scott. Since its founding in Paris in 1948, Longchamp has consistently created pieces that embody French chic, while Jeremy Scott, a cutting-edge designer at the forefront of the fashion scene who continues to challenge conventional creations, began this seemingly unique collaboration in 2006. Based on Longchamp's iconic "Le Pliage®" bag, the collaborative bag designs feature bold and striking graphics inspired by patterns from Jeremy Scott's own collections, and have been released in a variety of variations to date. Among the most memorable designs are the poodle-inspired "Poodlebag," the crazy monster-inspired "Madballs," the tire-track-inspired "Tire Track," and the 12 zodiac-inspired "Zodiac." "Every season, Jeremy strives to push the boundaries even further. As we worked together, he became more than just a partnership; he became a loyal follower of Longchamp's philosophy," says Longchamp's artistic director, Sophie Delafontaine. Jeremy's edgy graphics have challenged Longchamp's conventions while simultaneously captivating countless fans. Today, celebrities around the world, including Elle Fanning, Gigi Hadid, and Miley Cyrus, are loyal customers. To celebrate the brand's 10th anniversary, two new versions of the anniversary bag have been released. Sales began on November 6th exclusively on the Longchamp official website. A commemorative party was also held in Los Angeles, California, on November 6th (November 5th local time). The event took place at the Goldstein House in Beverly Hills, designed by architect John Lautner and featured in numerous Hollywood films. Jeremy Scott was joined by Longchamp CEO Jean Cassegrain and Sophie Delafontaine to celebrate the 10th anniversary, along with other guests, including actresses Kirsten Dunst, Freida Pinto, and model Amber Rose.
