ADDICTION's 2014-2015 Autumn/Winter makeup collection is inspired by Yasujiro Ozu's film "Tokyo Story," featuring new colors themed around "Tokyo Story." This year marks the brand's fifth anniversary, and creative director AYAKO's desire to "return to our roots as Japanese women and express beauty" led to the collection's proposal of a new Japanese aesthetic. The campaign model is Rira Fukushima, whom AYAKO praises for her appearance and lifestyle, resonating with the brand. The ADDICTION Liquid Eyeliner (¥2,800 each), designed to accentuate long, narrow eyes, comes in six deep, classic shades, including the reddish-purple "Tokyo Story" and the matcha-like moss-green "Liquor." The ADDICTION Film Mascara Long & Separate (¥3,200), designed to complement these long, narrow eyes, is formulated with quick-drying ingredients to reduce stickiness. It prevents eyelashes from sticking together, ensuring a uniform finish. Both items can be removed with warm water. "ADDICTION Eyeshadow" (2,000 yen each) features delicate colors and textures. Eight new colors have been added, evoking a sense of tranquility and sorrow, including the warbler-colored "Treasure Mountain," the golden yellow "Equinox Flower," and the ebony-colored "Paesos." "ADDICTION Blush" (2,800 yen each), which could be described as blush, comes in four colors, including the lustrous vermilion "Empire Passion" and the sunset-like orange "Early Summer." "ADDICTION Nail Polish" (1,800 yen each) comes in two colors: the crimson "Double Suicide" and the navy blue "Blue Moon." All of these items are said to be inspired by Japanese kimonos.
Two new colors will also be added to "Addiction Liquid Eyebrow" (2,200 yen each). Both items will be on sale from August 1st.
