Aesop will open its second directly operated store in Fukuoka and its first street-level store in Kyushu, the Aesop Fukuoka Store (2-4-5 Tenjin, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture).

The store was designed in collaboration with SIMPLICITY, led by Shinichiro Ogata, to harmonize with the local history as a samurai town. The 56-square-meter store features shelves arranged symmetrically against black walls on both sides. The contrast of materials, such as a white linen-covered ceiling illuminating the dark cement floor, evokes the disciplined, simple, and pure image of the samurai. A polished steel sink, inspired by the katana, the samurai's most prized weapon, also features in the center.

The store offers Aesop's full lineup of skincare, haircare, and bodycare products, formulated with carefully selected botanicals and high-quality laboratory-developed ingredients. Highly trained Aesop consultants will identify and recommend the products that best suit each individual's needs.
