Aesop, a Melbourne-based skincare brand, has opened a new store in Minami-Aoyama, Tokyo (5-10-19 Minami-Aoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo).

The store was designed by Shinichiro Ogata of SIMPLICITY. The 46-square-meter store is spacious, using a calm, subdued color palette, and features a sculptural circular sink at its center.

The interior materials are kept to a minimum, layering various contrasting colors and textures. The mortar floor, galvanized shelves, and washi paper all feature subtly different textures and colors.

The store offers skincare, haircare, and bodycare products formulated with carefully selected botanicals and high-quality ingredients developed in the lab. Highly trained Aesop consultants will recommend products that are perfect for individual needs.
