Kiehl's Great East Japan Earthquake Reconstruction Support Project: Collaboration with model Loveli on limited edition beauty set

Oct 3, 2014

Skincare brand Kiehl's is releasing a limited-edition beauty set in collaboration with model Loveli. The "Kiehl's x Loveli Beauty Set" (7,000 yen) is part of Kiehl's Tohoku Reconstruction Support Project. It includes five of the brand's products, including mini versions of the brand's "Super Cream," which just launched in Japan at the end of September, Blur, and Deep Cleansing Gel. The full-size "Midnight Botanical Concentrate" is particularly popular. This pioneering nighttime beauty oil supports the skin's regeneration cycle. It contains natural ingredients such as squalane, which has a highly emollient effect, sunflower seed oil, and evening primrose, which prevents aging and keratinization. Pre-orders for the "Kiehl's x Loveli Beauty Set" will begin on October 3rd on Kiehl's official website. Loveli will also serve as a Kiehl's store manager for one day on October 17th. A special offer of taking an Instax photo with Loveli is available exclusively to those who purchase products at the Harajuku store, on a first-come, first-served basis.

A portion of the sales from the items will be donated to help cover the operating costs of Fukushima Indoor Park, a facility for children in Fukushima who have been unable to play since the earthquake. Since 2011, Kiehl's has donated a portion of sales from eligible products to programs such as the "COMFORT FOR KIDS" program, which supports the recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake. In 2014, the company continues to work under the concept of "We Care - Always Thinking of You."
