The fashion landscape has undergone major changes in recent years due to changes in the global social situation. Having experienced difficult times, many people have reaffirmed that fashion is about making people smile and expressing positivity and hope for a brighter future.
In this issue's theme, "What Fashion Can Do: LIVE FREE," "Excellent Woman" conveys a message of freedom to enjoy fashion. Born in Tokyo in 1997. After living in Japan, Switzerland, and the United States, he is currently attending university in Japan. In 2018, he signed with the French modeling agency "SUCCESS" and made his runway debut at Paris Fashion Week. Since then, he has continued to work as a model while balancing his studies and basketball. He has worked as a model not only in Japan and Paris, but also in Milan, London, and New York.
Chikashi Suzuki (Photographer)
Born in 1972. He moved to France in 1996 and began his career as a photographer at the magazine "Purple."
He currently works on photography for domestic and international magazines and commercials. Major exhibitions: 1998 COLETTE (Paris/France), 2001 MOCA (Los Angeles/USA), 2001 HENRY ART GALLERY (Washington/USA), 2009 G/P GALLERY (Tokyo/Japan), 2018, 2019, 2020 KOSAKU KANECHIKA (Tokyo/Japan)
Tsuchitori Fumika (Artist)
Born in Hyogo Prefecture in 1995. Completed a Master's degree in Fine Arts and Crafts at Kyoto University of Art and Design Graduate School in March 2020.
Her paintings are centered around two series: "I and You," which depicts two people in an intimate relationship, and "a scene," which extracts elements such as color and shape from landscapes. Her works are characterized by playing with the materiality and fictionality of the elements that make up her paintings, and by presenting images that oscillate between figurative and abstract.
