Karuizawa Prince Hotel West (located in Karuizawa, Karuizawa-machi, Kitasaku-gun, Nagano Prefecture) will open on April 27, 2021, to meet new needs such as the growing demand for workcations. The hotel will also be renovating the lobby area and building a new guest room building with 70 twin rooms with terraces, as well as a hot spring building with an open-air bath. Karuizawa Prince Hotel has been implementing large-scale value-added projects since 2020, the first of which was the construction of a MICE facility and two restaurants with the aim of establishing itself as a global MICE resort, and the renovation of some of its existing guest rooms. This latest addition marks the second in a series of value-added projects.

The new guest rooms will provide a working environment by the window or on the terrace, realizing a workation style that allows you to spend time in harmony with nature. Of the 70 rooms, 16 can be connected in pairs to accommodate up to eight guests, allowing for three-generation stays. Separating the workspace from the living room and bedroom enhances comfort during work and other activities. The new hot spring wing, "MOMIJI HOT-SPRING," is also available for unlimited use during your stay. Guests can also use the new hot spring wing, "MOMIJI HOT-SPRING."

A new guest room building with a total of 70 rooms will be constructed, connected to the south side of the existing guest room building (173 rooms in total).

3. Front desk, lobby, rotary, existing guest rooms (renovations)
The entrance rotary on the south side of Karuizawa Prince Hotel West, as well as the front desk and main lobby, will be renovated at the same time as the new guest room building and new hot spring building are constructed. In addition, the existing guest rooms (101 A-SIDE rooms) will be renovated in mid-April.
