still is a complex run by Haruta, a Karuizawa, Nagano, company that has brought Scandinavian lifestyles to Japan through the import, repair, and sale of vintage furniture, as well as home design. The complex is housed in a renovated drive-in space. The complex includes a showroom for vintage furniture from Haruta, which also has a store in Kiyosumi Shirakawa, Tokyo, as well as the vegetable-focused restaurant JORD, and offers a variety of shops that are both visually and culinarily appealing. Pets are welcome on the premises, making it a dog-friendly space. THE SUN KARUIZAWA regularly holds dog food tasting events, fittings for new apparel, and events where dog owners can gather casually.
