Dec 20, 2012

DIESEL VEKTER, a collaboration between DIESEL and American audio manufacturer Monster, now offers a new white color for its headphones. The exterior features a futuristic design with geometric cuts. The interior cushions are made of soft leather. A dedicated case is included.

The Vector series includes headphones (black and white, ¥29,800) and earphones (black, ¥17,800). Available at eight stores: Diesel Ginza, Diesel Shibuya, Diesel Sapporo, Diesel Roppongi Hills, Diesel Harajuku, Diesel Kobe, Diesel Osaka, and Diesel Fukuoka.

Monster is a favorite of popular musicians such as Pharrell Williams, Jay-Z, and Fergie, and has also collaborated with big-name artists such as Lady Gaga and P. Diddy. The collaborative model with Diesel was designed based on the concept, "If you could visualize music, what would it look like?"

Many brands, including Prada, D&G, Marc Jacobs, Paul Smith, Ed Hardy, Mastermind, and Roar, have released collaborative models with manufacturers, and the market for headphones is expected to expand as they become accessories that go well with outerwear.
