Starting February 5, 2021, Roppongi Hills will be selling limited-edition merchandise featuring contemporary artist Takashi Murakami's new sculpture, "Flower Parent and Child," at 12 popular stores for a limited time as part of the second phase of the "ROPPONGI HILLS TAKASHI MURAKAMI PROJECT."

The "ROPPONGI HILLS TAKASHI MURAKAMI PROJECT" was launched last year as a dream collaboration between the cultural center of Roppongi Hills and Murakami to connect hope for the future through art. The first phase featured an exhibition of the approximately 10-meter-tall new sculpture, "Flower Parent and Child," as well as the launch of the collaborative "Flower Cafe" at Hills Cafe/Space. This second phase will see the participation of 12 stores, and fashion items featuring "Flower Parent and Child" designs, available exclusively at Roppongi Hills, will be released sequentially from mid-February. As lifestyles change, people are spending more time than ever within a one-mile radius of their homes and neighborhoods. Wearing colorful "Flower Parent and Child" T-shirts and coats will help you stand out from the crowd, even when spending time at home or going out for a quick outing. Additionally, the Grand Hyatt Tokyo, a luxury hotel within Roppongi Hills, is offering a world-first stay plan starting January 9, 2021, featuring a suite designed by Murakami himself. The suite recreates the world of his signature work, "Flowers," and features a total of 14 pieces, including sculptures created exclusively for this stay plan. Furthermore, you can fully immerse yourself in Murakami's worldview with in-room flower-themed dinners and exclusive nail art options. Spend your early spring stay-at-home days filled with colorful limited-edition items and hotel stays that evoke Murakami's unique style.
