G-STAR RAW and artist Skrillex have collaborated to release a special version of the brand's three-dimensionally cut denim "ELWOOD," the "ELWOOD SUPER SLIM ILLWOOD" (26,150 yen), on the 15th. The ELWOOD is a G-STAR signature model that was released in 1996 and has sold over 13 million units worldwide to date. Skrillex's loyalty to the brand led to the collaboration. Attention to detail includes faux leather trim on the pocket openings and kick plate, the "ILL" logo printed on the coin pocket and back pocket, and mesh on the waistband and inner pocket. The inside of the denim is also covered in Skrillex's hand-drawn illustration of deep-sea fish. This unisex design is available in one color only. It will be sold at only 12 stores worldwide, and in Japan at the G-Star RAW Store Osaka and the G-Star RAW Store Omotesando. Only 14 pieces will be sold at each store. Skrillex composed the background music for the 2013 Spring/Summer campaign short movie.
