Diamond Co., Ltd. will release the new "Excellence A2 Oxide" product from German writing instrument brand Diplomat in two colors on February 8th.
The new products "Oxide Brass" and "Oxide Iron" will be added to the "Excellence A2" series, which features a classic form that is representative of Diplomat. The name "Oxide" comes from the English word "oxide," and as the name suggests, it makes use of the oxidation of metals.
"Oxide Brass" is made by slightly oxidizing brass, resulting in a subdued gold color reminiscent of champagne.
On the other hand, "Oxide Iron" is made by slowly oxidizing brass over a long period of time, resulting in a steel-like grey colour that gives off a dull glow.
Each has fine horizontal lines left by the polishing, which reflect light and give off an elegant shine. Although made from the same material, "Oxide" develops different colors over time, making it a masterpiece in which Diplomat, boasting its advanced processing technology, has brought out new possibilities for metal.
The ink flower logo is adorned on the crown and nib.
