FENDI, the luxury brand renowned in Rome, Italy, has opened a new store in Düsseldorf's famous fashion district, Konigsallee.

Immersed in the world of FENDI, the 460-square-meter space displays the full lineup of both the women's and men's collections across two floors, and the design, highlighted by an LED arch in the atrium, is full of aesthetic sense. Fendi's iconic signature features evoke the façade of the Palazzo della Civilta Italiana, the monumental building where the brand is based in Rome, creating a spacious and elegant space. The see-through façade, which overlooks both floors, creates a dialogue between the interior and exterior, maintaining the brand's unique aesthetic without compromising the building's original appearance.

Upon entering the store, you will immediately notice that the first floor is divided into two areas by a light metallic pink staircase and matching marble floor. The space is divided by a clever use of materials: on one side, women's leather goods and accessories are displayed on champagne metal shelves with silver metal drawers, while the men's section features niches against a green silk background and a geometric carpet, creating a masculine impression that references the Fendi archives and the designs of Karl Lagerfeld.

A notable element is the floating mirrored glass walkway that connects the glass elevator to the rest of the second floor. An exclusive staircase leads to the second floor, both of which contribute to the special ambiance created by warm lighting that highlights the products as if they were works of art.

The staircase leads to the second floor, where an open space is revealed in soft tones of ivory and pink, accented with warm gold. The second floor, dedicated to the women's ready-to-wear collection, furs and shoes, overlooks an atrium, with shelves and freestanding elements in arabescato marble alternating with gold, evoking a sense of grandeur typical of Roman church architecture.

The store also features a VIP area that is both scenographic and intimate. Featuring azure metal walls and light blue Ocean Storm marble floors, the area is fitted with ivory velvet curtains that can be closed for privacy and intimacy. The lounge features bespoke pearlescent furniture from FENDI Casa, and a virtual sales niche with a marble backdrop hidden behind a movable divider further enhances the in-store experience.

To celebrate the grand opening of the store, Fendi commissioned German contemporary artist Pepi Erdbories, represented by Baodt.Art Gallery, to customize a blank canvas Peekaboo piece through her own artistic vision. With this piece, she attempts to create an outer framework for inner thoughts. By combining abstract art and text art, she invites viewers to identify with the piece and connect it to their own story. Her primary objective is to convey a sense of empowerment and tap into the subconscious. On both sides of the bag, the artist himself has painted two powerful messages in the iconic Fendi yellow.

In addition, Fendi will exhibit an exclusive selection of Peekaboo bags created over the years by other renowned international artists, designers and celebrities who, through their own work, have transformed the iconic bag, created by Silvia Venturini Fendi in 2008, into a work of art on special occasions for Fendi. Paying homage to craftsmanship, the design and art world, and the Peekaboo itself, the collection will feature the Artist Peekaboo, customised for the Peekaboo's 10th anniversary by Dutch designer Sabine Marcelis and Hong Kong jewellery designer, philanthropist and businesswoman Michelle Ong, as well as the Selleria Peekaboo, designed by Aranda Lasch for Design Miami in 2010. The exhibition will also feature a selection of bags from the 2014 "Peekaboo Project," designed by Zaha Hadid, Cara Delevingne, Jerry Hall, Kate Adie, Gwyneth Paltrow, Georgia May Jagger, Naomie Harris, and Tanya Ling.
