Yoshiokubo, designed by Yoshio Kubo, has unveiled its Fall/Winter 2021 collection.

For Fall/Winter 2021, the collection mixes modern menswear with the theme of "yugen," one of the aesthetic principles fundamental to Japanese culture.
Kubo's designs reflect his sense of the "beauty of the past and future that lies beneath the present," which he feels when looking at architecture such as shrines and temples, as well as the moss and ancient trees of the forests. The colors expressed by the decay of tangible objects form the color palette for the collection. The cuts and details of the pieces are inspired by the bold curves and slopes that can be seen in the simple decorations of traditional Japanese architecture.
