These days, work styles and ways of working are becoming more diverse, from warm or cool biz attire and office casual to teleworking and workation. While we're no longer bound by traditional, rigid rules about what to wear, as working men, we still want to be particular about our wardrobes for our "on" days. Comfort, a casual yet refined look, basic yet with unique details. And, a little something special is also necessary.

Hi TAILOR's custom-order men's clothing service, based on the concept of "easy access to a high-quality piece," can fulfill these uncompromising desires. The online service is attracting attention, especially from business people in their 20s and 30s.

In this project, [Hi TAILOR with you], we interview people in the fashion industry who wear custom-made items from Hi Tailor.

The first guest is Saiki Yusuke, former guitarist for RADWIMPS and current owner of "Tan Tan Tan," a restaurant specializing in dry dandan noodles. We asked him about his favorite customized shirts.

Yusuke Saiki's Hi TAILOR
“Customized shirts are great for the kitchen, too”

"I run Dan Dan Dan, a restaurant specializing in dry dandan noodles. In December 2020, I opened the first of our night market series, Yoichi Komazawa, in front of Komazawa-daigaku Station." (Saiki)

Saiki, who works in the kitchen, is wearing a Hi-Tailor shirt again today. He ordered it with the theme of "making our dry dandan noodles even more delicious." He paid particular attention to the buttons on the wrist, and the sleeves can be quickly rolled up, allowing him to look smart even while working in the kitchen.

A custom-ordered shirt makes a statement just by putting it on. There's nothing like clothes that fit you perfectly, both in size and for the occasion.
Another key point is that the shirt fabric has been chosen in a colour that doesn't show splashes of juice, allowing for safe cooking and working. He also likes the collar shape, which gives an elegant impression even without a tie.

Because shirts are an item that can be said to be the foundation of your style, you want to incorporate your own individuality and preferences. I used to think that ordering a shirt would be too difficult, but now I'm interested in Hi Tailor's custom orders. Let's check it out right away.

An interview with Yusuke Saiki about Hi-Tailor, his work, his personal rules, and more is now available on "Tailor Mag"!

【Profile】Yusuke Saiki (Owner of "Dry Dandan Noodle Restaurant" "Dan Dan Dan")
Living in Tokyo. For those who seem to enjoy wandering around, I found myself at a dry dandan noodle restaurant. My latest interest is yakiniku (grilled meat). My latest daily routine is calling out on Twitter and going out for yakiniku with strangers.
