A look at the newly opened "L'Espace Maison Martin Margiela." Furniture from Japan and limited edition T-shirts on sale.

Mar 6, 2013

Maison Martin Margiela's concept store, L'ESPACE Maison Martin Margiela, opened at the Isetan Shinjuku store, which had its grand opening on Wednesday, March 6th. The store will showcase the Maison's unique worldview through presentations, limited-edition items, and installations, with a different theme each month. Until Tuesday, April 2nd, the store will focus on the concept of "home." Divided into four areas—living room, bedroom, lobby, and dressing room—the store offers this spring/summer's new collections and a modern lifestyle. One highlight is the furniture collaboration with Cerruti Baleri, which will be exhibited and sold for the first time in Japan. Known for its simple, conceptual designs, Baleri's furniture also appears in La Maison Chmaps Elysées, a hotel in Paris designed by Maison Martin Margiela.

In addition, an oversized version of the AIDS T-shirt, which has been released every season since its debut in Autumn/Winter 1994, and a remake of the "Vintage Rock T-shirt" will also be released for limited quantities.

The store is located on the 3rd floor of Center Parc. Each year, one fashion brand will be featured, with the theme of "cutting-edge fashion x lifestyle."
