Ato has unveiled its 2013-2014 Autumn/Winter collection. Designer Ataru Matsumoto, with the theme "COMPOSITION," created clothes that can be enjoyed both individually and as a stylish outfit. The brand's iconic jackets are available in a variety of styles, including short jackets and chester coats crafted from thick, fluffy wool jersey, and soft jackets made from loosely twisted wool gauze with velvet accents. The collection showcases a variety of materials and colors (yellow, purple, red) in a "composition" style, featuring outerwear with a black body accented with navy, and cut-and-sew knitwear made from wool jersey with mohair or crushed velvet accents. The brand suggests styling shorter pieces with longer cut-and-sew tops featuring contrasting hems. The cuts feature accents around the neck, such as oversized collars and cowl-neck knitwear. The overall look is looser than the usual body-conscious style.
Also announced was a T-shirt and hoodie in collaboration with New York-based French photographer Thomas Dozol.
