The Armani Group has partnered with Century Properties, a Philippine retailer of homes for the wealthy. The company announced that Armani/Casa's Interior Design Studio (IDS) will be designing the luxury facilities and shared spaces of the tower building "Century Spire," currently under construction. Scheduled for completion in 2018, Century Spire is a 245-meter-tall, 60-story tower designed by architect Daniel Libeskind, also known for designing the master plan for New York's "Ground Zero." It will comprise more than 500 units in eight different styles, ranging from suites to penthouses, and will soar over Makati, the Philippines' economic capital. IDS provided the interior design for the shared spaces and luxury facilities, including the grand lobby, library, pool with juice bar, relaxation space, spa, gym, and fitness room. Upon request, they will also accommodate requests for interior design for the residences.
At the end of May 2014, a gallery showcasing the world of Armani/Casa will be opened on the fourth floor of the Pacific Star Building in Makati using photographs and videos. Three large model rooms will be set up there, where visitors can see the structure of the common areas, the layout of the rooms, and the materials used for the interiors.
