Dolce & Gabbana Ginza store reopens after renovation. Collaboration headphones with Grado, USA, are available for pre-sale.

Mar 31, 2013

The Dolce & Gabbana Ginza store reopened on March 30th, renovating with a more open and spacious interior. The first floor, bathed in light from three large glass windows, is an accessories floor featuring men's and women's bags, shoes, and leather goods. It also features women's fine jewelry, available only at the Omotesando and Ginza stores. The second floor is surrounded by burgundy velvet curtains, offering suggestions for coordinating women's clothing with accessories. The men's floor, located on the basement floor, features a warm design with black glass and walnut wood. A new "black tie" area has been added, featuring formal wear, and a full-fledged men's watch collection, available only at the Omotesando and Ginza stores. To commemorate the reopening, the store will be offering a one-week advance sale of the "DS2012" headphones, developed in collaboration with Grado, a luxury audio accessory manufacturer.

The "DS2012" features mahogany wood earpieces engraved with the logos of both brands, and its open-air design reproduces clear sound. The price is 202,125 yen. In addition to the Ginza store where it will be sold first, it will also be available at the Omotesando and Midosuji stores.

Grad is a long-established American manufacturer that has been in business since 1953. It has received numerous awards and is supported by many music lovers and professionals, with founder Joseph Grado being inducted into the Audio Hall of Fame in 1982.
