Bandai's official shopping site, Premium Bandai, began accepting pre-orders for the "Stereo Headphones Evangelion Mark.6 Kaworu Color" (3,980 yen) on December 26th.
The metallic blue and black coloring is reminiscent of the Mark.6 and plug suit piloted by Nagisa Kaworu in the film, and the NERV logo and unit number are arranged on the left and right sides of the headset pads. The initials "KAWORU" are also subtly designed. The headphones can be folded for compact portability. Pre-orders will close once the stock is sold out. Products are scheduled to ship in April 2013.
To commemorate the huge success and long-running screening of "Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo," which opened in theaters on November 17th, Bandai is currently running a giveaway campaign featuring four "Thank You for Your Orders: Original Postcards 2012/2013." In the second installment, which begins on December 29th, theatergoers will be given postcards of "Ikari Shinji & Nagisa Kaworu" by chief animation director Honda Yu, allowing them to see a rare shot of the two together that has only been seen on posters until now.
