British fashion brand Lavenham launched its first official Japanese web store (https://www.lavenham.jp/) on January 14, 2021.

Founded in 1969 in a small village in Suffolk, northeast of London, Lavenham began developing horse blankets made from nylon quilting material. The brand is known as an expert in quilt manufacturing, with high-quality design and consistent quality, all manufactured in its own factory.

For the Spring/Summer 2021 season, the brand will introduce the "classics" collection, which inherits the original 1969 design but updates it with contemporary materials and fits. This collection features a quilted fabric made with Lavenham's custom-made polyester material "Lavenster," padded with 65% recycled cotton sourced from Northern England and sewn in a 2-inch diamond pattern. The key element is the brand's iconic gilet. Its design is inspired by the elegant tailored jackets worn during equestrian activities at the time, a period when Lavenham introduced the world's first quilted gilet. In addition to the "classics" collection, Lavenham plans to launch seasonal and collaboration collections in the future.

New members who register on the Lavenham website will receive 1,000 points. By registering before shopping, you can use your points from your first purchase. (Normally, you receive 1 point for every 100 yen (excluding tax) you spend, and 1 point = 1 yen from your next purchase.) In addition to newsletter subscriptions, members will also be able to enjoy free return shipping for size exchanges and after-sales services such as alterations and repairs.
