The "Okeiko Girl" event, a collaboration between Nogizaka46 members Shiraishi Mai, Nishino Nanase, Ikuta Erika, Sakurai Reika, Ito Marika, and Wakatsuki Yumi and Isetan Girls on the second floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku, began today, the 2nd. Approximately 100 customers eagerly awaited the opening of the store before the store opened.
FASHION HEADLINE accompanied the filming of a special movie made for the event and released behind-the-scenes shots of the members. On the day of the shoot, scenes of Ikuta and Sakurai playing the piano, which they have been learning since childhood, were seen on a fantastical set, as well as Wakatsuki and Ito, who have both studied ballet, discussing choreography on set.
Shiraishi, who is said to be good at cooking, was also filmed cooking in an apron made for the project.
Nishino, the creator of the character "Doiya-san," familiar to fans, showed off his artistic talent by smoothly drawing Doiya-san on a canvas prepared on site that day.
The outfits worn by the members in the video (with the exception of some accessories) were created over several months, following numerous meetings with the designers of the brands each member collaborated with. Nishino commented on this collaboration, "I learned that designers spend a tremendous amount of time even before designing a single piece of textile."
A longer version of the video is currently being screened at Isetan Girl on the second floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku. Handwritten messages from the members are also on display in the store, which has been bustling with customers since it opened.
