Isabel Marant's second line, "Isabel Marant Etoile," opens its first Tokyo store at Shinjuku's "New Man"

Mar 8, 2016

On March 25th, Isabel Marant will open its second store worldwide exclusively for its second line, "ISABEL MARANT ETOILE," at NEWoMan Shinjuku, a shopping complex opening at the new south exit of JR Shinjuku Station.

Isabel Marant creates new designs each time, aiming to create stores that respond to the local culture and atmosphere. The new store is clad in inorganic concrete, with soft light filtering in from a woven rattan ceiling. Abstract objects and vintage wooden desks are placed inside. Items are displayed in fiberglass artwork, creating a modern space reminiscent of an art gallery.

To commemorate the opening, special items will be released in collaboration with artist Arnold Goron, who has created shop installations around the world. Two types of items are available: a tote bag (2,000 yen) and a pouch (5,000 yen) featuring a character named "Mr. Hatman" traveling around Tokyo. There will also be a service where customers can receive an original bandana as a gift (while supplies last).
