NUMBER TWENTY-ONE, the private brand of Isetan Mitsukoshi, will release handbags in collaboration with designer and ceramic artist Makoto Kagoshima on April 6th at the handbag counters on the first floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Main Store, the Mitsukoshi Nihonbashi Main Store, and the Mitsukoshi Ginza Store.

For this collaboration, Kagoshima created three original patterns. Four types are available: "Seven Sisters," "Birds and Flowers" (multi-pattern), "Five Flowers," and "Birds and Flowers" (yellow pattern). For this first collaboration, Viscotex technology from Seiren Co., Ltd., one of Japan's leading printing companies, was used to express Kagoshima's unique worldview on the bags with prints that show even the most delicate brushstrokes.
