The world premiere of the Lyric Speaker (¥324,000), a next-generation speaker that displays lyrics in sync with music, will be available at Isetan Shinjuku Main Store, Mitsukoshi Nihonbashi Main Store, Mitsukoshi Ginza Store, and the official Mitsukoshi Isetan online store.

The Lyric Speaker is a next-generation speaker released by SIX, known for its wide-ranging activities including video, advertising, interactive media, commercials, and branding. When you select and play your favorite music from your mobile device, the speaker automatically analyzes the song's atmosphere and structure. It retrieves the lyrics from a database and displays motion graphics of the lyrics on a built-in transparent screen. For gentle songs, the lyrics are visualized with gentle fonts and movements, while for energetic songs, they are visualized with powerful images.

The speaker was first unveiled to the world at "THE BIG PARADE," a digital-age music festival held in Japan in September 2014. Last year, the speaker also made an appearance at the South by Southwest Interactive Festival, a global art event held in Austin, Texas, USA, and became the first Japanese company to be selected as a finalist in the Entertainment Content Technology category of the 7th SXSW Accelerator Competition, and the first Asian company to win the "Best Bootstrap Company" award.

The speaker will be available for pre-order in June, with deliveries scheduled to begin in September.
