RAW TOKYO, a new type of flea market that brings together vintage select shops from all over Tokyo, will be held at Farmer's Market @ UNU on the first Sunday of every month starting April 3rd.

Currently, much of the world's food is discarded despite being in edible condition, drawing attention to the food waste issue. The market believes that this same waste also occurs in clothing, and, in the midst of mass-produced clothing, focuses on "good clothing" that has been passed down for decades. It will feature a variety of vintage items collected with a sense of the rawness of today's Tokyo.

Participating stores include KINSELLA, Harukaze Flower, DROP, VELVET, EVERGREEN, okidoki, &Dorothy, ROIR, and What'z up. Other participating shops include second-hand goods retailers Marpo, KNot a TOY, OLD ONES, cotie, and MICHIO, as well as handmade product retailers Aquvii, YEAH RIGHT!!, gogglygogole, monster in my daydream, Hirose Shunnosuke, and Kimura Glass.
