The fifth annual "HAPPENING" guerrilla runway event took place between Nihonbashi and Ginza Stations on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line. At 4:00 PM on March 26th, models wearing the 16-17 Autumn/Winter collections of the six participating brands boarded three trains at Nihonbashi Station. They disembarked at Ginza Station, blending in with the general public, and walked through the ticket gates from inside the station. Prior permission from the Metro was obtained, and subway staff managed to avoid any confusion. As it was a Saturday evening, there were many regular passengers on board, and many people rushing through the station. However, the approximately 15-minute "HAPPENING" ended without any major disruption. This guerrilla event, initiated in 2014 by stylist Kyoko Fushimi, is now in its fifth year. Each "Happening" has taken place in a different location, including Laforet Harajuku, a campaign vehicle, and in front of Omotesando Hills.

As with previous seasons, contemporary dancers will be participating, establishing a style in which the event progresses while they dance. Fushimi Kyoko's experimental styling, which hacks the extraordinary into everyday settings, continues.

From the 29th to the 31st, the six participating brands will be exhibiting the newly announced "SILENCE -OCCULT-" art pieces, and an exhibition and order event will be held at Shibuya ROOM703 (Yachiyo Building, 1-10-1 Shibuya, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo).

The designers and brands participating this time are KOSHIRO EBATA, MEGMIURA, TAKUMA, TAKESHI SATO, KUNIO KOHZAKI, MOTOHIRO TANJI, and SPACE DESIGN TOWA (ROPE ARTIST).
