PHENOMENON's women's line will launch in the Spring/Summer 2013 season. It will be available for presale from March 6th at International Designers Re-Style Plus on the third floor of Isetan Shinjuku. The collection includes a blouse (white and black, ¥24,150 each) with a mesh emblem on the front, a T-shirt with the same design in a floral print (¥14,700), and floral tie-dye print shorts. Also available is a red and white striped clutch bag in collaboration with bag brand MCM, available exclusively at Isetan. PHENOMENON was one of the most talked-about brands at Tokyo Collection, but on February 4th, it was reported that its operating company, Allison Co., Ltd., was filing for bankruptcy. PHENOMENON, founded by designer Takeshi Osumi in 2004, has been participating in Tokyo Collection since the Fall/Winter 2010 season. With a concept of "music," Osumi has been developing creations rooted in Tokyo's street culture. In 2012, he started "MR. GENTLEMAN" with Yuichi Yoshii of The Contemporary Fix.
