NARS releases dry and wet eyeshadow with specially designed brush

Jun 17, 2014

NARS will release its new eyeshadow, "Dual Intensity Eyeshadow" (3,000 yen), on July 4th. The newly developed two-way formula creates a sheer, lustrous glow when applied dry, or a sheer, opaque finish when applied with a wet brush. Twelve colors are available, ranging from peach pink and topaz to rich tones like burgundy and jet black. The compact features a new black square shape. A specially designed brush, "Wet/Dry Eyeshadow Brush #49" (3,900 yen), will also be released at the same time. For wet application, gently squeeze the wet brush tip to remove excess water, then dab the eyeshadow with the brush tip to create a stronger color payoff. For dry application, the sheer color blends seamlessly with the eyes. The campaign imagery, which was inspired by the "beautiful Parisian woman with unwavering confidence," was photographed by creative director François Nars himself, and model Daria Strokous was chosen.
