From February 13th to 18th, the Isetan Shinjuku store's first floor The Stage hosted a promotional event for the 2013 Spring/Summer season of Valentino's accessories line, the Rockstud Collection, titled "The World of Valentino Rockstud." This season, titled "Naked Rockstud," the brand unveiled bags and shoes made of clear PVC with studs. The collection evokes a modern-day Cinderella, showcasing clean and delicate pieces. The shoes, reminiscent of the glass slippers in the story, feature heels crafted from PVC and Plexiglas. The Rockstud Collection launched in Fall/Winter 2010 and has since grown to comprise 80 to 90 percent of the accessories line. Available exclusively at Isetan Shinjuku are clutches and bracelets crafted from clear material with gold studs, the same material featured in the runway show. Other items on display include precious snakeskin with exotic prints and turtle shell studs.
