Chilly Gonzales' Japan tour canceled due to sudden illness

Feb 19, 2013
Chilly Gonzales' February 20th concert at Theater Ginza by Parco has been canceled due to the artist's acute otitis media, which made the long-distance flight difficult. Chilly Gonzales, a pianist, songwriter, rapper, and film producer, rose to fame with the smash hit "Ivory Tower," which also featured the song "Never Stop" in Apple's iPad commercial. His highly anticipated one-night performance in Japan is a testament to the artist's critical acclaim, as his "Solo Piano II," released last August, and his "Solo Piano" eight years earlier, are both long-selling albums. Advance ticket purchasers will also receive a free download of the full concert recording of "The Unspeakable Chilly Gonzales," performed in 2011 with the Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra.
