James Edward Bagshaw, a member of the British band Temples, has been chosen for the latest edition of the Saint Laurent Music Project.

The photographs were taken by Hedi Slimane in Austin, Texas, in May and in New York in June. The black-and-white images show Bagshaw clad in fur, sitting on a sofa and holding a guitar. Bagshaw will also be featured as one of the main subjects in Hedi Slimane's photo book, "SONIC," due for publication in September.

Temples are a four-piece psychedelic rock band from the British Midlands. Their 2012 album, "Shelter Song," garnered rave reviews, drawing praise from big names like Noel Gallagher and Johnny Marr. The band will be holding their first Japan tour in May 2014, and will also be performing at the Fuji Rock Festival in July. Bagshaw is in charge of vocals and guitar.
