On the 17th, Film Art Publishing, a publisher of film and art books, will publish "Relativity: Comme des Garçons Theory: Why We Talk About Comme des Garçons" (2,730 yen). Founded in 1969 and having an impact on global fashion since its Paris expansion in 1981, the book examines COMME des GARÇONS from a variety of approaches, including problem-posing, thought experiments, and experiential research. Edited by fashion editor Nishitani Mariko, this book features contributions and interviews from Asako Yoshihide (interior designer), Inoue Masato (historical sociology/design history), Kuwahara Shigekazu (music selector/CEO of Club King), Sakaushi Taku (architect), Chiba Masaya (philosophy/representational cultural theory researcher/critic), Nagae Akira (writer/editor), Narumi Hiroshi (cultural sociology), Hasegawa Yuko (chief curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo), Fujiwara Teppei (architect), Matsuda Tatsu (architect), Yanagimoto Koichi (design, producer/CEO of Glyph.), and others. It examines Comme des Garçons not only from the perspective of fashion, but also from various angles, including architecture, philosophy, art, and sociology.

To date, numerous books related to Comme des Garçons have been published, including collections such as "Comme Des Garçons: Fashion" (Taschen), as well as "Study of Comme des Garçons" (by Minamitani Eriko, Little More) and "Unlimited: Comme des Garçons" (by Shimizu Sanae, Heibonsha). Magazines have also included "Bijutsu Techo December 2009 Issue" (Bijutsu Shuppansha) and "Pen+ All About Comme des Garçons" (Hankyu Communications), a re-edited version of "Pen February 15, 2012 Issue" (Hankyu Communications).
